Born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, I’ve always believed that everyone has a story worth telling. My journey has taken me through different industries, experiences, and challenges, but one thing has remained consistent: my passion for connecting with people and creating meaningful impact through storytelling.

I earned my bachelor's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Alabama State University and later pursued a master's degree in Film Production at Full Sail University. Currently, I am furthering my education by earning a Master of Arts in Public Relations from Full Sail University, where I am developing my skills in strategic communication, brand development, media relations, and digital storytelling.

My passion for public relations comes from understanding that communication is more than simply delivering a message. It's about building relationships, shaping perceptions, and creating conversations that matter. With a background in behavioral therapy, filmmaking, and content creation, I bring a unique perspective to the industry that combines creativity, empathy, and strategy.

As the founder of Better In Black, a platform dedicated to promoting mental health awareness within the Black community, I've experienced firsthand how powerful authentic storytelling can be. Through creative media, community engagement, and advocacy, I strive to challenge stereotypes, encourage meaningful conversations, and amplify voices that deserve to be heard.

Beyond my professional work, my personal journey has taught me the importance of resilience, adaptability, and finding purpose through adversity. Those experiences continue to influence how I approach storytelling, collaboration, and the relationships I build.

Today, based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, I'm focused on helping individuals, businesses, and organizations communicate their stories with authenticity, creativity, and intention.

My philosophy is simple: A great story can capture attention, but a meaningful story can create change.​ Whether I'm in a therapy session, behind a camera, coaching in the gym, or building Better In Black, I strive to lead with compassion, authenticity, and purpose. My hope is that my story reminds others that our circumstances don't have to define us. Instead, they can become the very foundation that inspires us to grow and be "Better"
